KARINA’S BACKPACK PROJECT DONATES OVER 7,700 BACKPACKS TO FULLERTON SCHOOL DISTRICT SCHOOLS IN 1ST YEAR OF PARTNERSHIP.

Karina’s Backpack Project (KBP), fiscally sponsored by the Joy of Sharing Foundation and a project implemented by Dreams for Schools, will be providing Fullerton School District (FSD) students with backpacks and supplies for the new school year for the first time.

On August 14th, Karina’s Backpack Project (KBP), a project implemented by Dreams for Schools, will be kicking off its 2022 backpack distribution at Pio Pico Elementary School in the Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD).

CASA OC SPREADS THE LOVE FOR VALENTINE’S DAY

Kids for CASA recently held their 2nd Annual Bear-Building event for Valentine’s Day. The goal was to raise $32,500 to recruit and train CASA volunteers and to create and donate hundreds of custom-stuffed bears to Orange County youth in the juvenile court system. Thanks to the overwhelming support of our community partners, donors and volunteers, Kids for CASA raised almost $40,000!

Stanton creates holiday magic through valued partnerships

The City has established a new partnership with Dreams for Schools and Katrina’s Backpack program to provide holiday gifts for four hundred local children. Recipients included our Family Resource Center clients and families who were identified through liaisons at our local schools, GRIP representatives and other community-based organizations.
